If you think of Amalfi Coast you, surly, think about the sun, beaches, the sea, historical architecture, beautiful sunsets on the beach, parties at Positano's night clubs, Luxury villas with views from infinity pools. That is, of course, all there, but Amalfi Coast has much more

Amalfi Coast is full of walking trails that will let you experience its beautiful nature and ruins of old buildings and houses that will tell you a story about the way people used to live in the area. Depending on your physical abilities you should choose one for you, and we will try to present some of it.

The hiking route Ravello-Pontone-Torre Dello Ziro is almost ten kilometers long route. Anybody who stays in a Luxury villas and in it's infinity pools overlooking Amalfi coast  missa hiking perfection of the areas as Positano with it's Paths of God and many other. If you have booked Amalfi coast villas do not miss this sort of oportunity and hike the roads above Amalfi coast on top of. 

It is, generally, considered to be route for people that are in the better physical shape since it has lots of climbing on it. In average it takes a little over 4 hours to complete, but the views and the nature that you experience on the rout is stunning. It cruises through the old villages of the Amalfi Coast through the Manoti Lattari park to Ravello.

Valle Delle Ferriere is considered a lighter route. It is around six kilometers long and takes about little more than two hours to complete. The best part of the year to hike on this trail from April to September. If you are a bird lover, this is the rout for you.

Little bit longer route, but not less fun is the route from Amalfi to Praiano. This hiking trip will take you through Amalfi Coasts' beautiful gardens with vegetables, lemon groves, you will see plenty of goats, mules and other domestic animals during this trip. The views at the see from the trail are, surly, something that you will remember. The trail is around 15 kilometers long and takes 15 hours to complete it.

The route Amalfi-Pontone-Atrani is shorter, but still stunning. It is a little les then 5 kilometers long and take 1.5 hours to complete. The route starts at Salita dei Patroni and goes to Valle dei Mulini.

Punta Campanella hike is around 7 kilometers long and takes about 3-4 hours to complete. The highest spot is around 600 meters above the sea level. While walking this path not only that you will enjoy stunning view of the Amalfi seaside, but also ancient remains of Greek and Roman praying temples.

A little bit shorter and easier hiking trail is the Bay of Leranto. It is almost 5 kilometers long and it takes to 1.5 to 2.5 hours to complete. It is a little more 300 meters above the sea level. The walk is easier then other, but you will love the view and the resting place at the Capitiello beach.



Valle dei Mulini is one of the easiest hikes at the Amalfi Coast. It is actually great hiking spot for families with kids. It is 6 kilometers long and you complete it in 2-3 hours. Although it is an easy hiking spot prepare yourself for beautiful nature and historical sites. Along the trail you will see many old buildings and ancient ruins and also Lemon trees.

Circuit of Tre Calli is a longer trail, but the views at the sea side are a must see. It is almost 10 kilometers long and takes around 5 hours to complete. It is a trail that around 700 meters above sea level and it is meant for people that are physically active.

One more thing that is important to know. Any hiking trail you choose, it is important to bring water and sun cream with you. It can get exhausting and hot on these trails.
