Hold ticket

A hold ticket, sometimes referred to as a reservation or dummy ticket, is a reservation for a return flight made for the purpose of applying for a visa. It's called a hold ticket because, unlike airline tickets, it's not paid for. When you receive a hold ticket for your flight, the reservation is usually held in your name for a few weeks, so you can apply and wait for your visa grant confirmation before paying for your air ticket.

Hold tickets provide embassies and consulates with all the data they need to process your visa application.Your hold ticket or flight reservation will include:● The airline name● The flight schedule● The booking reference● The arrival and departure dates● Your full nameWhoa! For about INR 350, or $5, you may purchase a hold ticket for your visa, immigration, or passport renewal in less than 10 minutes.
