Best Way to Travel Chardham from Delhi

🚍 By Road: Direct bus services/private cabs available from Delhi to Haridwar/Rishikesh.
✈️ By Air: Nearest airport – Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun (from where you can hire a taxi).
🚆 By Train: Nearest railway stations – Haridwar, Rishikesh, or Dehradun.
🚁 By Helicopter: VIP helicopter services are available from Dehradun for Chardham Yatra.


Chardham Yatra Itinerary (12 Days)

📍 Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar (220 km / 6-7 hrs)

🚗 Drive from Delhi to Haridwar. Visit Har Ki Pauri for Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

📍 Day 02: Haridwar – Barkot (210 km / 7-8 hrs)

🚗 Drive to Barkot via Mussoorie. En route, visit Kempty Falls. Overnight stay in Barkot.

📍 Day 03: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (36 km drive + 6 km trek one way)

🚗 Drive to Janki Chatti and trek 6 km to Yamunotri Temple. Return to Barkot.

📍 Day 04: Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 km / 4 hrs)

🚗 Drive to Uttarkashi, visit Vishwanath Temple. Stay overnight in Uttarkashi.

📍 Day 05: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 km one way / 3-4 hrs each side)

🚗 Drive to Gangotri Temple, take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River, return to Uttarkashi.

📍 Day 06: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (220 km / 8-9 hrs)

🚗 Drive via Rudraprayag & Devprayag, reach Guptkashi for overnight stay.

📍 Day 07: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (Drive to Sonprayag + Trek / Helicopter to Kedarnath)

🚗 Drive to Sonprayag, trek 18 km or take a helicopter to Kedarnath. Visit Kedarnath Temple. Stay overnight in Kedarnath.

📍 Day 08: Kedarnath – Guptkashi

🚶 Return trek/Helicopter ride from Kedarnath to Sonprayag, drive to Guptkashi.

📍 Day 09: Guptkashi – Badrinath (220 km / 9-10 hrs)

🚗 Drive via Joshimath, Vishnuprayag to reach Badrinath. Visit Badrinath Temple & Tapt Kund.

📍 Day 10: Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag (160 km / 7 hrs)

🚗 Drive through Joshimath, visit Narsingh Temple, reach Rudraprayag.

📍 Day 11: Rudraprayag – Haridwar (155 km / 5-6 hrs)

🚗 Drive to Haridwar via Devprayag. Visit Rishikesh, overnight stay.
