What are Autonomous Mobile Robots?
Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) are self-navigating robots that can move and perform tasks in a dynamic environment without human intervention.

Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) are self-navigating robots that can move and perform tasks in a dynamic environment without human intervention. Unlike Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), they define their own routes and move accordingly. They can adapt to a changing environment without human help and move freely and efficiently.

How AMRs Navigate and Operate:

1. Mapping (SLAM): AMRs use sensors like LIDAR and cameras to create a map of their environment while tracking their location.

2. Localization: They use the data from sensors like LIDAR, IMUs to decide their position on the map.

3. Path Planning: AMRs determine the efficient path to their destination and avoid obstacles during operation.

4. Obstacle Avoidance: They can easily detect obstacles while navigating around people, objects, or changes in the environment.

5. Task Execution: They perform multiple tasks like picking, transporting, or delivering items to their target location.
