The Perimeter Intrusion Detection System is a system of cameras, sensors and software developed to observe the perimeter of a building and inform security personnel to any unauthorized access. PIDS utilizes technologies such as the infrared detectors, fiber optics as well as motion detection devices to detect potential security breaches at a moment's notice.
