What is Self-Leveling Concrete?
Self-leveling concrete, also known as self-leveling underlayment or self-drying concrete, is a special fluid mixture of cement-based materials that is self-leveling as it hardens. When poured, it flows easily and levels itself without need for tamping or work from tools. It is used as an underlayment in flooring installations to create a smooth, flat surface prior to installing other floor coverings like tile, wood, vinyl or carpet.
Composition and Properties
