A UAE Unified Number, or UID, is a 9-15-digit number automatically created when you get your residence visa. This number is important because it identifies you as a visa holder and is unique to you.
The UID number in UAE is a unique 9- to 15-digit identification code assigned to every individual entering the country, whether as a resident or visitor. Issued by the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICP), it is used for immigration and visa-related records. The UID number in UAE remains the same throughout a person’s stay, even if they change their visa or residency status.
