Also, samosas, bhajis, and even currywurst go well with a Pilsner, though I'm not sure that counts.
Cider -
Try cider with curry—it might be the last thing you think of. When paired with lighter fish and vegetable curries, it can be very refreshing, but I think it works best with a medium-dry cider. Most meals require a little of sweetness.
Wines and Drinks with Indian Food -
Although there are many more options, aromatic wines like riesling, pinot gris, and gewürztraminer are often thought of as the best complements to Indian cuisine.
Sauvignon blanc:
Especially when paired with fresh herbs, garlic, ginger, and green chillies that aren't laden with sauce. No tandoori dish is complete without a glass of Sauvignon Blanc; this clay oven-grilled paneer tikka, marinated in Indian spices, is no exception. They go well with tandoori-spiced grouse and a Tuscan-style Indian red, two examples of Indian-style game dishes.
Lighter reds like Beaujolais go surprisingly nicely with spicy vegetarian foods.
Rosé wine:
Rosé goes wonderfully with many Indian cuisines, but unless your curry is very mild, We recommend a deeper-coloured Spanish rosé or a fruitier pinot noir-based one instead of the pale Provençal variety. Chicken tikka masala is a perfect accompaniment.
Wine with a fizz, including champagne!
While sparkling wines aren't the best match for curries, they really shine with samosas, bhajis, and pakoras, among other Indian appetisers, just like with any other fried or crisp food. If you think champagne is too showy, try cava or crémant instead.
