John Crowley's WE LIVE IN TIME is an amazing compelling story of love that is sure to become a new romantic classic. The core of the movie is the relationship between Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh, a woman whose chemistry is so visible on screen that it's simple to understand why their characters fell in love in the first place. The film's non-linear narrative structure allows it to jump between the start of a couple's relationship and its end, focusing its set pieces on significant events in the characters' lives. Although it won't be in the manner of THE NOTEBOOK, I defy you not to cry at the end of the movie. Rather, I believe that the film's lovely celebration of love will make you cry more.
