Telangana's Export Highlights: Leading Products and Innovative Sectors
Telangana’s export performance reached a remarkable milestone, with merchandise exports soaring to US $19.1 billion in 2024–25, marking a growth of approximately 36% over the previous year. The major exports from Telangana include engineering goods (accounting for about 39.4% of total exports), drugs and pharmaceuticals (around 30.8%), as well as organic and inorganic chemicals and electronic goods. The state also excels in exporting fertilisers (crude), fruit and vegetable seeds, drug formulations, biologicals, and even aircraft parts—many with the highest shares in India. Together, these exports reflect a dynamic and diversified industrial base, spanning advanced manufacturing, life sciences, agriculture, and beyond.
