New Study Reveals the U.S. States Most Concerned About Rideshare Safety
The Top 10 States Where Americans Worry Most About Rideshare Accidents

A new study based on Google search data reveals that Montana has the strongest concern about rideshare accidents in America.

The research conducted by Missouri-based personal injury law firm Beck & Beck Missouri Car Accident Lawyers analyzed monthly Google search volumes for terms related to rideshare accidents (like "Lyft accident," "Lyft accident attorney," "Lyft accident claim," "Lyft accident lawyer," and "Lyft accident settlement") across all U.S. states. The search volumes were then compared against population figures to identify which regions most actively search for rideshare accident information online.

Montana ranks first with 62.1 average monthly searches per 100,000 residents. That's a 286% higher search interest than the national average of 16.1. The Treasure State, home to 1,143,160 residents, recorded 710 monthly searches for rideshare accident-related terms.

Georgia ranks second, with an average monthly search rate of 52.7 per 100,000 residents, a 227% increase above the national average of 16.1. With a population of 11,297,300, the Peach State recorded 5,950 monthly searches.

Florida placed third, with an average monthly search of 41.4 per 100,000 residents, 157% more than the national average of 16.1. The Sunshine State, with 23,839,600 residents, reported 9,860 monthly searches.

Looking at the study, a spokesperson from Beck & Beck Missouri Car Accident Lawyers commented:

"This data illustrates how concern about rideshare accidents varies significantly across America, with states like Montana, Georgia, and Florida showing peak interest per resident.

"With rideshare services becoming increasingly popular nationwide, it's crucial to understand where Americans are most concerned about potential accidents and seeking legal information. This research signals to legal professionals, insurance companies, and rideshare platforms that users in these states are actively seeking information about accident-related topics, indicating heightened awareness and concern."

Colorado ranks fourth with an average monthly search of 34.4 per 100,000 residents, 114% higher than the national average of 16.1. With a population of 6,013,650, the Centennial State generated 2,070 monthly searches focused on rideshare accidents.

Kansas ranks fifth with 32.1 average monthly searches per 100,000 residents, representing a 99% increase above the national average of 16.1. The Sunflower State's population of 2,989,710 carried out 960 monthly searches.

California ranks sixth with 27.7 searches per 100,000 residents, followed by Nebraska at seventh with 27.2, South Carolina at eighth with 25.5, Utah at ninth with 25.0, and Nevada at tenth with 24.4.
