Babe Lash Lawsuit: What You Need to Know

Established in 1983, Elixir Beauty Care Products OPCO LLC, the company behind the clean excellence brand Babe Unique, was hit with a lawsuit.

On May 5, 2024, Plaintiffs Melanie Wohl and Dalit Cohen, inhabitants of New York, filed a class action lawsuit against Elixir Makeup. Both ladies bought Babe Lash serum from Walmart stores in 2021 and 2023, accepting it was secure and would provide them with longer, thicker lashes.

The lawsuit claims that they were deceived into buying an illegal, unapproved medication. The plaintiffs say they would not buy the items if they had known the truth.

According to the babe lash claim, the plaintiffs consider buying the product once again as it is secure, legal, and free from unfavorable effects.

Elixir conceals that the serum’s essential ingredient isopropyl cloprostenate (ICP). Elixir does not caution customers about the side effects of ICP. The company misleadingly markets the item as secure and lawful, emphasizing its “effective” ingredients to make a picture of a clean and sound product.

On October 12, 2023, Danielle Skarpnes filed a class action lawsuit against Elixir, claiming Babe Lash serums didn’t warn about the dangers connected to isopropyl cloprostenate.

The serums included in the settlement are:

·         Babe Lash Essential Lash Serum

·         Babe Lash Eyelash Serum

·         Babe Amplifying Brow Serum

·         Babe Brow Serum

In the end, whereas long lashes are alluring, safety is important. If you’ve experienced lash serums like Babe Lash, contact an attorney.
