This film was a theological philosophical debate. It forces you to consider your own opinions and the reasons for others' beliefs. This film questions all religions without being disrespectful and does not disparage any one of them. Anyone may appreciate the questions this film poses, regardless of their religious beliefs, in my opinion.

This film Heretic was a theological philosophical debate. It forces you to consider your own opinions and the reasons for others' beliefs. This film questions all religions without being disrespectful and does not disparage any one of them. Anyone may appreciate the questions this film poses, regardless of their religious beliefs, in my opinion.

Ironically, some audience members stormed out during a crucial sequence in which their religion was being questioned while we were watching this movie in a Utah theatre, missing the sister missionaries' answer.

Since it correctly depicts the church's beliefs and policies and demonstrates the sister missionaries' intelligence and familiarity with various faiths, this film really presents Mormon missionaries in a positive light.

With Hugh Grant portraying a peculiar and eccentric character, this film was just what I expected, but it also caught me off guard with some unexpected turns. The film's use of cinematography to establish significant objects and events was excellent.

The next paragraph discusses the main subject and includes some ambiguous spoilers:

In the end, Pascal's wager was on my mind as I departed. It discusses how there is no actual reason to practise religion or not, but if there is a deity and it doesn't harm anyone, we could be better off doing so if any of it is real. "Even if every religion is wrong," was the message I took away from the movie. As long as you are a decent person, it doesn't matter. Have faith in whatever you. The movie is available for streaming in Afdah.
