How Can Rectal Prolapse Be Reduced?
Rectal prolapse causes the rectum to shrink only when its mucosa swells from fluid accumulation.

The prolapse cannot be greatly reduced. Manual reduction or prolpase retum treatment by herbal will allow you to return your rectum to its usual place.

You can put a few granules of sugar into it and let it sit there for a few minutes before pushing it into the anus. Sugar will draw the extra rectal fluids and make it shrink. Rectal prolapse is a disorder whereby the last section of your big bowel, or rectum, protrudes from your anus. Any of the three following methods could cause this.

·       The whole rectum exits the anus.

·       The anus only pushes out part of the rectum.

·       Though it has shifted out of position, the rectum does not fall out of the anus.

Though rectal prolapse can happen at any age, it is more frequent in older adults with persistent constipation. Women over 50 years old are also more prone to rectal prolapse.

Usually, this results from straining during bowel movement. It might not move inside even after you push it; you could be able to push it in by yourself (total or full-thickness prolapse).

Rectal prolapse has other symptoms as follows:

·       Loss of bowel control, or fecal incontinence, Happens in 5 to 7 out of every 10 rectal prolapse sufferers

·       Rectal or anal pain

·       Rectal bleeding:  Treatment delays cause the inner lining of the rectum to ulcerate, hence causing significant bleeding.

How May Rectal Prolapse Be Treated Non-Surgical?

Surgery is the primary treatment for recurrent and total rectal prolapse. If the prolapse is not serious, the doctor may initially attempt to temporarily correct it using a method called "manual reduction of the prolapse."

Your doctor will tell you how to accomplish self-reduction of your rectal prolapse at home when just the inner lining (mucosa) of your rectum comes out of the anus. To push the rectum back into the anus, you must place mild pressure on it. Your rectum may bleed somewhat during the operation.

Treating the source of your rectal prolapse—e.g., constipation—along with the reduction method can help you postpone or perhaps avoid the operation. Inquire with your physician about what you may do.

Your doctor may often recommend following a regular workout and balanced diet to prevent constipation.

·       To maintain soft stools, use a stool softener.

·       Practice pelvic floor muscle-strengthening techniques.

Which Workout Is Ideal For Rectal Prolapse?

You can perform them as follows:

·       Slowly tense your pelvic floor muscles for three seconds.

·       You will feel as though you are raising them.

·       Then let go for three seconds.

·       Do this ten times in a row. That's one group.

Conclusion

You should perform one set of Kegel exercises two to three times daily. Start with a smaller set as much as you can tolerate and work up progressively over time if you cannot complete a set of 10 on your first day.
